Originally, I created this blog for random thoughts that I had in mind and wanted to register in a safer area that the typical post-it that all of us use when we need to remember something.
I don’t think that anyone is actually reading this. If you are, write me a mail to farmijo16@gmail.com. Will be funny to know if the traffic that appears in google analytics is more than random bots.
It usually implied write a quick note (that could be a tweet), evolve that note into a draft article, and evolve that note into a post. Usually those posts don’t even were posted, and most of them were kept on the draft status with no more news about it.
So, then I learned that something called Zettlekasten existed. Is basically a way to store knowledge of your own:
- You write a quick idea or you develop an idea through the book, article, whatever you’ve been reasoning.
- You write that idea with your own words (called a Zettel)
- Last, the magic pill: you relate that Zettel to other Zettels. Not a category, a direct relation.
Boom, you have now a second brain. This in combination with Obsidian (or another note tool with graph view) is amazing.
