As the other page says, I play guitar in a band (mainly covers, some adapted to out style, some not) and I'm studying music (theory and harmony).
This last months i'm through one of this creative blocks that usually happen to people; nothing really new learnt on the theoric side, nothing really new been developed or played on the band.
I read some months ago that Jerry Seinfeld, to avoid this creative blocks, tried to write as many jokes as he could every day, and eventually, good ones appeared, in the middle of a lot of bad ones.
I'm going to apply the same approach to my creative blocks. Try to write/compose simple melodies or compositions, record them and listen a couple of days later. Nothing too fancy or complex, just to get something worth of being developed.
Let's see what happens from here…
